Hi my name is Sufi Nawaz and this is my humble effort to put up work samples and details about me in my very own website. The very few people who will find their way in here will get to know about what I do for a living and what I do as a hobbyist.

I am a graduate from University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Accounting Information Systems from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I have worked several years as a Software Engineer in the past and am now looking forward to combining my IT background with AIS and hope to utilize my past, present and future knowledge and experience to the best of my capability and make an exciting career out of it in the near future. Over the years, I've had some invaluable and incomparable experiences working for companies such as Verizon Business, Federal Communications Commission (as a contractor), Live Outsource, etc. Currently I’m working as a Graduate Assistant at the Center for Instructional Technology at James Madison University.

Photography, graphics designing, and playing guitar are some of the things that I do as a hobbyist. I mostly do portrait and still life photography, but I fail not to take snaps of anything I find visually appealing - be that a moving car or a beautiful insect for instance. I also love travelling and going to exciting new places. Of the several years that I had spent in the United States, I have travelled to more than half the number of states - only to discover that this country has much much more to offer to photographers than a lot of other countries. I only wish I had the money and time to travel more.
